Photography is an integral part of my design process. I often implore an onslaught of visual inspiration while conducting research for a project. My interest in photography sprouted at an early age. My father built a dark room in his garage and his enthusiasm for the craft was contagious. I still shoot film with a Minolta x-700, but my primary camera is a DSLR Canon 2ti.
These images were taken at a variety of locations ranging from Alaska, Oahu, Canada, Colorado, Sierra Nevadas, Palomar Mountain, San Diego and Encinitas, Ca.
For me, the camera is a sketch book, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity. - Henri Cartier Bresson
